At the intersection of Manor Lords, Civilization 6, and Cities Skylines 2, a game has emerged that could be the perfect hybrid of strategy and city-building. We are talking about Memoriapolis, a new medieval strategy game that will soon be released in Steam Early Access.

The game starts with you managing a small medieval settlement, much like Manor Lords. However, Memoriapolis offers a more in-depth experience: the city grows on its own, guided by your laws and decrees, but not obeying your every word. It’s reminiscent of the cult 2000 Majesty, where the player could influence the inhabitants, but not control them directly.

The game becomes more complex as it progresses. Like Civilization, the needs of the population, available technologies, and progression options change over time. Memoriapolis spans four eras: Antiquity, the Middle Ages, the early Renaissance, and the Age of Enlightenment.

Each period will present the player with challenges. You can build wonders of the world and magnificent buildings, spreading the influence of your culture throughout the world. However, the main focus will always be on developing the city to create the greatest metropolis in the world.

Memoriapolis Early Access launches on August 29th on Steam .
