Brazil Team has released a new update for the unofficial port of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 on PC. To show how this latest version runs on a high-end PC, YouTuber sugi0lover shared a video showing off the game’s performance.

As you can see, this unofficial PC port can run at 120fps on a high-end system. There were slight drops to 100fps, but most of the time the game ran at 120fps.

It’s worth noting that this is a DX11-based version, so it lacks ray tracing effects. Regardless, it’s impressive that an unofficial port of a AAA game runs so smoothly.

The Brazil Team has also shared the full changelog for V1.4.9. Judging by it, the latest version fixes some shaders. Overall, this version will look and perform better than previous ones. As previously reported, the game no longer suffers from severe stuttering.

Let’s remember that the port began with a leak of the developers’ build for PC, which did not contain shaders and textures.

Sony has not yet revealed official plans to release Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 on PC.
