LEGO Horizon Adventures has been shown off on Nintendo Switch with a new trailer

During today’s Nintendo Direct, a new trailer for LEGO Horizon Adventures was presented, which will also arrive on Nintendo Switch later this year.

During the Nintendo Direct LEGO Horizon Adventures was shown on Nintendo Switch with a new trailer, which includes several gameplay sequences with Aloy and the other characters intent on exploring the scenario and facing the Machines.

This is the first look at the spin-off on the Japanese company’s hybrid console, which most likely will not go beyond 30 fps and will give up something in terms of resolution and effects, but will retain the style and contents of the PS5 version.

The launch of LEGO Horizon Adventures will take place simultaneously on the two platforms : there is no official release date yet, but we know that the game will make its debut by the end of the year.

A first step for PlayStation

Announced a few days ago, LEGO Horizon Adventures represents a first step for PlayStation in terms of multiplatform strategies, in the sense that it is the only first party Sony production destined to land on another console.

The reveal of the game took place after weeks of more or less detailed rumors , in which there was talk of this spin-off based on plastic bricks which would have involved an important intellectual property of PlayStation.

Despite not being a title developed by TT Games, LEGO Horizon Adventures seems to take up the same action formula with cooperative elements, fighting, exploration and solving puzzles often based on the assembly of LEGO sets.

Today’s trailer also confirms these characteristics, which will certainly contribute to opening up the experience and the world of Horizon to a largely new audience, perhaps made up of younger users who are passionate about the transpositions of the LEGO brand.
