RE:1 Remake rumors are bullshit, as far as I know RE:1 is not in any form of development at all right now.

Resident Evil 9
Dusk Golem reported that a Resident Evil 9 announcement this summer is unlikely. Initial rumors turned out to be wrong, and the game’s announcement will occur later than the upcoming summer. Resident Evil 9 is currently not expected to release until late 2025 or 2026.
Remake of Resident Evil 1
Rumors about a Resident Evil 1 remake are false. According to an insider, the game is not in development.
