HUNT SHOWDOWN 1896: NEW TRAILER FOR NEXT-GEN EXTRACTION SHOOTER UPGRADE WILL BE FREE
There are just a few days left until the launch of Hunt Showdown 1896 , the definitive title of what is effectively a re-release of the extraction shooter by the creators of Crysis .
Over the course of the afternoon, the development team released a new trailer that shows several glimpses of Mammon’s Gulch , the one and only map that will be available at launch. The Bayou, in fact, will be temporarily set aside to allow the developers to get to work and improve it from various points of view, including the technical one. It would therefore seem that for the first 30 days after the launch we will have to make do with the new arena that will be the backdrop for the PvPvE clashes .
For those who don’t know, Hunt Showdown 1896 marks the game’s transition to the next-gen version : at launch, the Crytek title will no longer be available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Don’t worry, though, because the upgrade to the new version will be free for everyone and will allow you to play on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
While we wait to find out how the game has changed from a technical and gameplay perspective, we remind you that the release of Hunt Showdown 1896 is set for August 15, 2024 .
