Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3: Demolition, all the news between areas, Nitro and Battle Pass
The Nitro is one of the new features of Fortnite Chapter 5 – Season 3: Demolition . Players will be able to find Nitrobombs or Nitro barrels: the former is a throwable object to gain the Nitro advantage (character or car), while the latter trigger the Nitro effect upon simple contact. The barrels fly away after being hit and explode upon landing, so be careful.
But what exactly is Nitro? This is a temporary effect that grants some benefits, such as:
- Auto – Increased speed
- Auto – Explosive ramming power that deals damage and knockback if you go fast enough
- Car – Lower fuel consumption
- Auto – Increase to mounted attack mods
- Character – Increased speed
- Character – More punching power that deals damage, knocks back and passes through structures
- Character – Lower headset consumption for longer lasting shots
- Character – Higher reload speed
- Character – No fall damage

Then there are the Repair crates (but the repair torch is also back). Service stations also arrive instead of petrol pumps to fill up and take care of yourself. Then there are new bodies for SUVs. We will then find the Detonating Bolt, a rapid-fire modifiable crossbow.
Then there is the Behemoth bundle , with all the items from the Wastelands set:

War Buses also now appear on the island : there are two of them and they can be captured to use the two cannons and a horn that emits an electromagnetic pulse capable of damaging shields and disabling nearby vehicles.
There are also enemies to defeat for rewards:
- Machinist at Purple Well – obtain the Machinist’s medallion that regenerates your shield over time and gain access to the Machinist’s Combat Assault Rifle
- Scarr Matatrice at the Nitrodrome – you get the corresponding medallion (infinite ammo and a small damage increase) and the mythical detonating bolt
- Megalo Don – you get the medallion (Nitro infinite) and the Nitro gloves
You can also get the middle of the three enemies and each vehicle has infinite Nitro . However, medallions will show you enemies on the map: the more medallions you have, the more precise the indicator will be.
For Fallout fans there is also Nuka-Cola which restores health and shield over time. Then add the Juicy Cactus which if hit with a pickaxe or car will create healing cactus fruits.
Finally, as always, there is the Battle Pass which will donate costumes of the warriors of the Waste Lands and beyond at the price of 950 V-Buck, with rewards of up to 1,500 V-Buck. By completing the tasks in the July Battle Pass you will also be able to obtain the Magneto of the Wasteland costume.
