A44 Games has released a gameplay video for Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn that includes over twenty minutes of in-game footage, including exploration, interactions with NPCs, and of course combat: one of the game’s central elements.
As you can see in the video, the battles in Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn boast an unprecedented vertical development : the protagonist often finds herself facing enemies who attack her from above and can quickly climb onto the roofs to reach them, so as to fight back.
The opponents are basically infernal hordes that have arrived on the lands of Kian through a huge portal, and the protagonist of the game is a warrior determined to stop their advance.
Accompanied by the fox Enki, who is actually an ancestral creature, we will be able to explore a large open world , meet new characters and complete increasingly complex tasks.
We tried it!

Although on a narrative level for the moment the game is not surprising, and the exploratory elements do not seem brilliant, the A44 Games title could be able to give us an experience capable of supporting itself precisely on the spectacular nature of the clashes and on what revolves around them, without paying too much attention to the rest.
Luckily, it won’t take long to find out what’s really going on, as Flintlock: Siege of Dawn will be available starting July 18th in the PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S versions.
