Fantasian: Neo Dimension announced for Nintendo Switch with a trailer and release date

Fantasian: Neo Dimension was announced for Nintendo Switch during the Nintendo Direct, with a first presentation trailer and also an official release date.

Confirming several rumors that emerged previously, today’s Nintendo Direct brought the announcement of Fantasian: Neo Dimension , a new version of the Japanese RPG by Mistwalker and Hironobu Sakaguchi , presented with a trailer and a release date , scheduled for this winter

This is a new edition of the game previously released exclusively on Apple Arcade, which comes with a new subtitle and some new features compared to the original on iOS, as well as a new publisher: the title in question will in fact be published by Square Enix .

A sort of nostalgic reunion is therefore expected, with a Sakaguchi and Mistwalker game being published by his old company for which he created, at the time, the famous Final Fantasy series.

A new version of Fantasian

You can learn about the original in our review of Fantasian , which was released in two parts at the time through the Apple Arcade subscription service.

Fantasian: Neo Dimension – Announcement Trailer

Fantasian: Neo Dimension contains the original story and all of its content, as well as some additions and variations.

In particular, the new version contains dialogues spoken in English and Japanese and some additional options to adjust the difficulty level of the game.

For the rest, it is an extremely fascinating title, which takes up the most classic tradition of the Japanese JRPG with turn-based combat and applies some variations capable of making it perfectly enjoyable even in these times.

Another particular feature of Fantasian is the fact of staging settings digitized from reality, built as real handcrafted dioramas and capable of being particularly fascinating.
