FALLOUT 5 AND REMAKE OF THE OLD CHAPTERS: TODD HOWARD OUTLINES BETHESDA’S VISION
During the MrMattyPlays interview with Todd Howard who spilled the beans on Shattered Space and future Starfield DLC , the Game Director of Bethesda Game Studios also discussed the strategies carried out by his team to ensure a rosy future for the Fallout saga .
The top exponent of the development team that gave shape to titles such as Fallout 4, Skyrim and Starfield says he is perfectly aware of the extraordinary popularity of Fallout due to the success of the TV Series, but urges the community to ‘not rush the times’ .
“It’s true, the Fallout series has never been more popular ,” Howard begins in his speech before underlining that “millions of players are enjoying Fallout titles thanks to the TV Series. As for the Fallout video games that will arrive in the future, obviously I can’t talk about it now but I can still advise the community not to be too hasty or to ask us to stop creating the content we are creating for Fallout 76. We don’t feel the need to rush the times , also because at this moment There’s the Fallout TV series that goes some way to filling the current void in the franchise in terms of storytelling . “
Having made this necessary clarification, Todd Howard explains that “I also ardently desire a new single-player Fallout video game, but these are projects that require their time to reach full maturity . I also don’t think it’s a bad thing if people feel like If they’re ‘missing something’, waiting is a fundamental aspect of the development and success of any franchise. We just want to do things right and make sure that everything we’re doing, whether it’s the future of Fallout , The Elder Scrolls or Starfield , is done in the most appropriate way and allows fans to experience incredible moments and truly meaningful experiences. And then you know, I tend to like to announce a game only when I think I can launch it within a few months Remake, as long as people have the opportunity to access the old games on PC I think this is the best way to play the first Fallout games , the way they were originally conceived . “
