Fallout 4: release date of the free Next-Gen upgrade announced for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series

The Fallout 4 next-gen update for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S finally has a release date, here are the details from Bethesda.

Coinciding with the launch of the Fallout Amazon Prime Video series, Bethesda Games Studio today announced the release date of the Fallout “Next Gen Update . ” The upgrade for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series

PS4 and Xbox One players won’t be left empty-handed either, as the update will bring a series of stability improvements, fix issues related to certain quests, and so on.

The PC version for Steam, Microsoft Store and GOG, however, will receive official support for widescreen and ultra-widescreen monitors, in addition to fixes for the Creation Kit and a series of updates for the game’s missions. Also in this case improvements will be made to stability and fixes for bugs and problems that undermined stability.

It doesn’t end there, because on April 25th Fallout 4 will debut on the Epic Games Store and will officially become a “Verified” game for Steam Deck .

New content from the Creation Club

In addition to the new features above, a series of free Creation Club items will be added via the Fallout 4 Next Gen Update , including the “Makeshift Weapon Pack,” featuring lethal makeshift weapons crafted from common items, the “Halloween Workshop ” with themed decorations, and the “Enclave Remnants”, with a new mission in which players will have to stop the Enclave’s plans.

In addition to this content, the following previously released Creation Club content will also be included in the pack:
