ELDEN RING SURPRISE: THE SHADOW OF THE ERDTREE PRE-LAUNCH UPDATE ADDS NEW FEATURES
After having crossed the incredible milestone of 25 million copies sold of Elden Ring , FromSoftware surprises Senzaluce by announcing the arrival of new functions with the Update that precedes the launch of Shadow of the Erdtree.
As underlined by the social team of the development house led by Hidetaka Miyazaki, the Day One Patch of Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree will introduce new features also in the base game , to the delight of all those who wish to continue their exploration of the Interregnum in waiting for the arrival of the next, huge expansion that will open the gates of the Shadow Lands.
Rolling out from Thursday 20 June on PC, PlayStation and Xbox, the new Elden Ring Update will bring five new hairstyles for the Senzaluce, a very useful icon that will indicate all the newly collected objects (from consumables to weapons, through spells and equipment) and new functions for the Summoning Basins, with the latter which, once activated, will be transferred to the New Game Plus. It will also be possible to enable and disable the display of the summoning basins on the map through a specific integrated option in the interface.
FromSoftware’s social media curators also promise to have introduced other improvements, optimizations and additions: the complete list of interventions made by the Japanese developers will be revealed with the usual patch notes that will accompany the launch of this free update. – Active Summoning Pools will now be carried over to NG+.
– Individual Summoning Pools can now be enabled / disabled in the newly added Map Functions Menu. Only active Summoning Pools will be selected when using the Small Golden Effigy.
