The Venerate Spirit Ashes item, required to activate and upgrade the Venerate Spirit Ashes Blessing, can be obtained from the corpses of horn heralds and other ritual items that decorate towns and villages throughout the Shadow Realm.
If you are near the first Place of Grace , the Plains of Sepulchres , you can already obtain a Shadow Tree Fragment from the Church of Consolation and Venerated Spirit Ashes from the corpse of a horn herald on the edge of the Scorched Ruins.
