EA Sports FC 25 reveals new roles and Focuses for each position on the pitch via FC IQ
After having merely teased football fans with a teaser trailer , Electronic Arts has given us the first Deep Dive dedicated to the gameplay of EA Sports FC 25 , the new chapter in the sports series coming in September on PC and consoles.
The video that you can enjoy at the top of the news, the developers give us a complete preview of all the new features introduced in EA Sports FC 25 compared to its predecessor. First of all, a revision of the tactics has been made to improve the positioning of the players and the way in which each team plays has been changed based on their style in the real world, making each match fresh and unique.
More than 50 new Player Roles will guide the way each athlete thinks and behaves on the pitch, resulting in more authentic tactical intelligence and off-the-ball movement. FC IQ helps revamp the approach to tactics and positioning for each individual player to create greater variety and authenticity in gameplay, while a new AI model, powered by real-world data, influences player tactics through all-new Player Roles. FC IQ joins HyperMotionV and PlayStyles as a key pillar of gameplay innovation in EA SPORTS FC 25.
Player Roles are a game-changing shift, guiding the way each player thinks, behaves, and moves off the ball. Each player will have a Role Familiarity that allows them to perform their roles to a greater extent than other players, while Focus is a Role modifier that allows users to slightly alter one or two attributes of their Role. At launch, there will be 31 Roles, each with 1-3 Focuses, for a total of 52 unique combinations.
While we wait for the launch scheduled for September 27 on PC and PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch consoles.
