Square Enix has finally announced the release date of Dragon Quest 3 HD-2D Remake for Nintendo Switch, PS5, Xbox Series
One of the most anticipated games of the June Nintendo Direct was undoubtedly Dragon Quest 3 HD-2D Remake and in this sense we were not disappointed. For the occasion we finally also have an official release date, set for November 14, 2024 on Nintendo Switch, PS5, Xbox Series view below.
According to the official details shared by Square Enix, Dragon Quest 3 HD-2D Remake aims to revive the narrative origin of the Erdrick trilogy through a graphic remake that adopts an HD-2D style , fusing pixel art and 3D graphics, which we have learned to also appreciate with other recent productions, such as the Octopath Traveler series.

The game puts us in the shoes of the son of the hero Ortega, who against his will is commissioned by the King of Aliahan to defeat the Ultra Demon Padramos, thus inheriting the mission that his father was unable to complete.
