Since this year’s Summer Game Fest will take as much as 2 hours, there will be a lot of room for new announcements and surprises within the event. These could include BioWare’s Dragon Age: Dreadwolf, which is rumored to be released later this year. Adding fuel to the fire is the addition of RPGs to the Xbox Store and PlayStation Store .
While there is no price or release date yet, these pages confirm that an announcement can be expected in the summer of 2024. For now, it is known that the sequel will take place in Thedas, which needs a leader in the coming chaos. As in Origins and Inquisition, players must recruit allies for their cause and work together to face the coming disaster.
BioWare has confirmed that the game will feature more explorable locations than previous games, including Anderfels, home to the Gray Warden Weishaupt base, and Antiva, home to the Shadow Ravens. There will also be the shores of Rivan, where dragons settled, driving away the Lords and destroying their ships.
