Will Dragon Age: The Veilguard let us use transmogrification to customize our characters? BioWare has definitively answered the question for the role-playing game.
Dragon Age: The Veilguard is coming this year, and so far BioWare has only shared a proper presentation of the game. It gave us an idea of what to expect, in terms of genre and key gameplay mechanics, but it clearly didn’t reveal every detail about the action RPG.
One of the most important elements for many role-playing gamers is the ability to customize their character, both in terms of statistics and in terms of pure and simple appearance. We know that we will be able to change the armor of our protagonist and his allies, but will we be able to use transmogrification ?
Remember that transmogrification is the ability to change the appearance of an armor without changing its stats: it’s a way to maintain your unique style without having to give up the advantages granted by a new armor you just obtained.
BioWare Confirms Transmogrification in Dragon Age The Veilguard
Speaking to Game Informer, game director Corinne Busche revealed that Dragon Age: The Veilguard will have a “robust” transmogrification system, meaning players will be able to apply the appearance of any armor or piece of gear they own to their character without having to actually equip its stats or change its attributes.

Transmogrification not only allows you to change the appearance of Rook , the protagonist, without having to worry about the consequences on your stats, but you can do the same with every member of your party.
In short, there will be maximum customization. The same can be said about the difficulty that will make you customize everything, to make it easy or difficult .
