Dino Crisis is the return most desired by fans confirming itself as one of Capcom’s most beloved games
Dino Crisis still confirms itself among the most loved games ever by fans for Capcom, with the title being voted as the most desired return with a sequel or remake.
From the extensive survey recently carried out by Capcom with its “Super Elections” , the results of which were published in the last few hours, also comes confirmation that Dino Crisis remains among the company’s most loved games , as well as the return most desired by fans .
Although it was practically abandoned by the company after the release of Dino Crisis 3 and the spin-off Dino Stalker , both in 2003, after more than 20 years the title remains among the most requested by the public , at this point becoming almost a case for Capcom, which in the meantime has cultivated much of its historical intellectual properties but has completely neglected this one.
Perhaps also in reaction to this behavior of the publisher, the public seems to have focused on Dino Crisis in the recent survey, making it emerge among the most loved games and as the most requested series for an official return to the scene.
Will Dino Crisis be considered for a sequel or remake?
As we can see from the results of Capcom’s Super Elections, in fact, the first Dino Crisis even emerged as runner-up among the most loved games ever.

With 10,978 votes, the dinosaur-based survival horror beat the very fierce competition of Resident Evil, Monster Hunter and the others, placing itself immediately after Devil May Cry 5, another somewhat surprising winner of the survey.
Not only that: perhaps the most interesting element comes from the survey question on which title to recover in modern form. When asked “Which Capcom video game series (including spin-off titles) would you like to see made into a sequel or new title?” Users responded en masse “Dino Crisis”.
The Dino Crisis series with 80,769 votes clearly beat the second place, namely the Mega Man series (63,395 votes) and the Devil May Cry series (60,371 votes). Will it be enough to push Capcom to consider relaunching Dino Crisis with a sequel, remake or reboot ? We’ll see, but this time it seems that the message has come through loud and clear.
