Details of two dungeons and bosses of Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree as well as 34 minutes of gameplay
New impressions from the Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree expansion have arrived, revealing several fresh details. These include two new dungeons for players to explore. IGN’s three-hour preview describes two dungeons: Belurat and Ensis Castle.
The first dungeon is the size of “between Stormveil Castle and Morne Castle.” There are several side paths and enemies here, such as giant scorpions, Grave Birds, and armored knights. His boss is the Divine Beast, the Dancing Lion (seen in the trailers). He is quite challenging in the first phase, but becomes even more hardcore in the second phase, alternating between lightning and ice attacks.
Ensis Castle is similar to the Carian Estate, with several magical enemies, including a giant in Carian Armor and the extremely difficult Carian Knight. Relanna, Knight of Two Moons is the boss of this dungeon, wielding swords and magic. In the second phase, he uses fire melee attacks and also releases what appears to be an alternate version of Rennala’s Full Moon. Perhaps there is some connection between them.
It’s worth noting that these are not the only two dungeons in the expansion; it is noted that there will be at least one more.
