DESTINY 2: DLC FREE TRIAL CLASSES AND REWARDS WILL BE UNLOCKED FOREVER
A few days ago, Bungie kicked off a welcome free trial period of almost all Destiny 2 expansions ahead of the release of The Ultimate Forme . Accompanying the announcement is an important confirmation from the Seattle software house.
Although the possibility of playing the various expansions of the shooter at no additional cost was appreciated, many users were reluctant to try it for one simple detail: many rewards are linked to paid content and without a license there is no way to use them , even if are present in the Guardian’s inventory.
In this regard, Bungie wanted to confirm that an exception to the rule will be made during this trial period: all the rewards that players will unlock during the next few weeks will be available forever , even if they do not purchase the expansions at payment. Not only that, the Stasi subclass will also remain unlocked for players who finish the Beyond Light campaign. As if that wasn’t enough, at the end of the trial period the ability to play the Shadowkeep and Beyond Light story quests will not be removed , which will continue to be free for all players .
This is certainly an important decision, which will encourage many users to try their hand at the various contents to accumulate weapons and armor that could be useful both in the campaign of The Ultimate Forme and in the new free activity of the Towards the Light update.
