Hideo Kojima has provided updates on the development of Death Stranding 2, revealing that motion capture and dubbing have been completed.
The work relating to motion capture and dubbing of Death Stranding has been completed : Hideo Kojima revealed it during a radio broadcast on the Japanese network NHK.
The Japanese game director explained that at this point the development team will have to face a phase lasting about a year in which aspects such as direction, comprehensibility, fun and gameplay will be optimised.
If all goes well, therefore, we imagine that Death Stranding 2 will be released in 2025 , perhaps in autumn : perhaps a shorter wait than what the many fans of Kojima’s works feared for this sequel.

An analysis of the trailer
When discussing the development of Death Stranding 2, Hideo Kojima also spoke about the game’s debut trailer , which in his opinion had the task of presenting the sequel in its entirety , including all aspects of the experience.
For this reason, the director paid a lot of attention to including narrative sequences but also some gameplay that highlighted the differences with the first episode and some introduction of the characters, between old and new acquaintances.
