There may still be secrets and easter eggs left to discover in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and/or Cyberpunk 2077, even years after their release.
Pawel Sasko, deputy director of Cyberpunk 2 and lead developer of Phantom Liberty, suggested as much in a recent interview with the Flow Games podcast. When asked if there were any hidden secrets left for fans in either game, Sasko said he was “pretty sure there are.”
I know a few examples right now that come to mind that I’ve never seen. It takes players a long time. Some of the Easter eggs and details that we hid in The Witcher 3 weren’t discovered until seven years later, after the full release. We added things over time, but there were also things that were always there.
Sasko also explained that CD Projekt Red intentionally includes such complex secrets because they know that their players use guides and can share their findings to help others in the community. You can read more about this topic here .
