Capcom dominates the ranking of the most anticipated games from Famitsu but not only thanks to Monster Hunter Wilds

The top positions in the ranking of the most anticipated games by the readers of the Japanese magazine Famitsu have been conquered by Capcom, in a true state of grace after the latest news on Monster Hunter Wilds.

Like every week, Famitsu has shared the results of the survey proposed to readers aimed at establishing the ranking of the most anticipated games arriving on the market, which as per tradition offers us a cross-section of the tastes of the public of the Land of the Rising Sun, often very different from those of our own and, in general, of the Western public.

Considering the latest news and videos seen at State of Play and Summer Game Fest, it is not surprising to see Monster Hunter Wilds , the new chapter of Capcom’s giant monster hunting series, in first place again. The Japanese company also takes second place with Pragmata , despite the game still being completely under radar following the postponement announced last year. In short, the Japanese public continues to believe strongly in this project despite the fact that the development seems troubled.

Interest is also growing in Metaphor: ReFantazio

Still remaining at Capcom, in ninth place we also find Monster Hunter Stories HD , the remaster of the first chapter of the spin-off series of the series available since last week on PC, PS4 and Switch (the votes are before publication), here is our review .

On the lowest step of the podium is Pokémon Legends: ZA , the new chapter for Switch which continues the trend started with Pokémon Legends Arceus, but with only a handful more than Metaphor: ReFantazio , also on the rise in terms of votes after the news arriving from the Summer Game Fest (in this regard, here is our test of the new highly anticipated JRPG from the authors of Persona and Shin Megami Tensei ). As expected there are very few Western productions in the top 30 below, with the only exception being Assassin’s Creed Shadows .
