CALL OF DUTY: WWE CROSSOVER ANNOUNCED SEASON 5 LAUNCH DATE
While we wait to find out what the future of Call of Duty will hold with the arrival of Black Ops 6 , Activision has released a new teaser for fans of its shooting series that previews the arrival of a truly peculiar crossover.
With a quick clip posted on Call of Duty’s social media channels, Activision revealed both the crossover in question and the release date for Season 5. The new collaboration will see the shooter step into the WWE ring : in the teaser, we see the silhouettes of what appear to be multiple wrestlers, although it’s not exactly clear who we’re talking about. But the lack of details hasn’t stopped fans from speculating. The community is throwing out their own hypotheses: will we be able to get skins for wrestlers like Roman Reigns , Cody Rhodes , Seth Rollins , Rhea Ripley , or John Cena ? The possibilities are endless, of course, but for now the publisher has preferred to leave a blanket of mystery. Furthermore, it’s not even clear whether the ring we see appearing in the teaser will be included in some way in the game.
For the rest, Season 5 of Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone 2.0 will start on July 24 , so in just over a week. This regarding the collaboration with WWE is in fact the first useful information on Season 5, so we will necessarily have to wait for updates from Activision.
