CALL OF DUTY: THE FUTURE OF WARZONE AND THE MYSTERIOUS BLACK OPS 6
Over the last few hours, there has been a lot of talk about Call of Duty Warzone and the new features that will arrive in the free-to-play game following the debut of COD Black Ops 6 .
We know that an update will bring the Omnimovement and Black Ops 6 weapons to Warzone , but many are wondering what will happen to the maps. According to the latest rumors, Activision wanted to release Verdansk , but postponed the return of the map due to unknown issues.
There has been talk since last December about the return of the battle royale’s most beloved arena, but apparently it wasn’t possible for the software house working on the game to respect the schedule and arrive in time for the debut of Black Ops 6. According to Tom Henderson , a well-known insider, this is due to the fact that the decision to bring Verdansk back to the game was made very late and only after seeing the success of Fortnite OG with the original map. The initial plan was to accompany the release of the new premium game with a new Warzone map titled Avalon , but it was then decided to postpone the arena to COD 2025 , whose code name is Saturn.
Rumors also suggest another map is coming next year: Area 99 , a smaller map designed for Return mode that is apparently in development at Treyarch, the creators of Rebirth Island.
