Black Myth: Wukong will have 80 bosses and will be easier than the average soulslike per a leak
In August it will finally be possible to get your hands on Black Myth: Wukong , the long-awaited soulsilke-inspired action game scheduled for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series We have seen sections of the game several times and the title is certainly promising, but we still don’t have a clear vision of what we can expect. Now, a leaker has shared new speculation via Twitter: There will be around 160 enemy types and over 80 bosses in Black Myth : Wukong.
The information comes from Lunatic Ignus, a leaker who is considered credible when it comes to games of Chinese origin and in particular for Black Myth: Wukong. Via his Twitter account – as you can see below – the leaker states that Black Myth: Wukong will have a New Game + mode already at launch (it is often introduced with an update after publication), various endings, around 160 types of enemies , 80 bosses, and finally, it reports that this action game will be slightly easier than the average soulslike .

I decided to share some new info about “Black Myth: Wukong” before the pre-orders are open:
– The game will have NG+ at launch
– Multiple endings
– Around 160+ enemy types
– 80+ Bosses
– The game is slightly easier than soulsborne games pic.twitter.com/oJwEnfx2WV— Lunatic Ignus (@ignusthewise) May 20, 2024
As always, we repeat that this is just a rumor, not official information . For the moment we recommend taking this information with a pinch of salt and waiting for confirmation from the developers. The hope is that Black Myth: Wukong will be shown before long, perhaps on the occasion of the Summer Game Fest (all the details on the show here).
Black Myth: Wukong and the 80 bosses
One of the features that immediately catches the eye in this leak is that Black Myth: Wukong will have – according to the source – over 80 bosses. To give you a point of reference, Elden Ring has around thirty bosses, which are then repeated in multiple variations (obviously the number will rise with Shadow of the Erdtree ).
This makes us wonder what “80 bosses” really means in a game like Black Myth: Wukong. The leaker doesn’t give any additional details, so it’s not impossible that that count includes repeated bosses or that many are normal enemies elevated to boss roles at certain points in the game.
