This isn’t the first time that Grand Theft Auto V has come into close contact with Microsoft’s Game Pass. Until December 31, GTA 5 was available on Xbox Game Pass , and Rockstar Games has added and removed it from the catalog on several occasions . Now its return seems very close.
According to Tez2 , a well-known insider who has always been very active on everything related to Rockstar Games and its games, GTA V would be ready to land in the near future on PC Game Pass . The leaker does not provide more concrete details and it is not entirely clear if and when the return to the Microsoft service should materialize, but in any case, official announcements regarding the matter cannot be ruled out, perhaps even in the next few weeks.
If words were to be translated into action, it would be yet another return of GTA V to Game Pass, considering that it was already included in the catalog of the console version of the Microsoft subscription in the past. We are therefore waiting for definitive confirmation from the Redmond giant or from Rockstar itself, in the meantime the game continues to prove to be an everlasting success: GTA 5 was the second best-selling game of May 2024 in Europe , behind only EA Sports FC 24. Not bad for a work that originally became a reality in September 2013.
