THE FIRST DESCENDANT: WHAT ARE THE BEST CHARACTERS TO UNLOCK?
If you’ve completed the first part of The First Descendant’s campaign , you’re probably tired of always using Bunny or one of the three starting characters and it’s probably time to unlock a new Descendant . Here’s a list of the ones that might be most useful.
Before we begin, it is important to make an important clarification. In The First Descendant there are no weak or strong characters , because if used in the right way they can all make a big contribution to victory. However, there are some Descendants whose abilities are particularly effective in certain contexts such as the Void Interception War , i.e. the endgame boss fights. Given the time required to create a character for free, therefore, we suggest you focus on the ones you like the most, regardless of the rankings.
THE FIRST DESCENDANT: WHAT ARE THE BEST CHARACTERS TO UNLOCK?
Gley
In addition to being a very unique character to use, Gley racks up kills to enter a sort of rage mode where she is more vulnerable to enemy attacks, but at the same time inflicts much more damage .
No less important is the ability that allows her to not waste ammo for a short time , essential for slaughtering bosses with heavy weapons when they are vulnerable.
Valby
Valby is not only easy to unlock, but she is also a very useful character when it comes to holding off groups of enemies
Her abilities allow her to generate pools of water that constantly damage enemies and allow her to use abilities with less mana consumption.
Ajax
If you didn’t choose Ajax as your starting character in The First Descendant , you’ve made a big mistake, but you can fix that later.
Having Ajax (even better if he’s Ajax Ultra) in your collection is really useful, as this huge armored warrior is a great tank who can generate energy shields and protective domes that are quite useful both when it comes to fighting and when you need to revive a downed ally.
Share
If you’ve been told that Sharen is a useless character, know that this is absolutely not true.
While she is not a particularly effective Descendant on the battlefield, Sharen is essential for anyone who wants to dedicate herself to grinding, as she is the one and only character capable of stealthily completing infiltrations : this means that only she, in hard mode, can complete these activities to obtain two Amorphous Materials, a precious resource for those who want to unlock the rarer characters.
Enzo
Enzo is also subject to a similar argument to Sharen, as this character can interact with encrypted chests just like the other heroes, but for him the mini-games are simpler and the contents of the chests will be richer.
If you want to accumulate the resources found inside these containers, make sure you have at least one Enzo in your team.
If you haven’t done so yet, we suggest you take a look at our review of The First Descendant
