Ever since the gameplay video for Unrecord dropped , more and more games have tried to imitate the first-person shooter with a bodycam-style view . Even Fortnite has landed a special map created using UEFN, Fortnite’s Unreal Editor.
The user JSFILMZ has in fact created a special map for the Creative mode of Fortnite Chapter 5 thanks to the tools that Epic Games has recently made available to developers who know how to work with the Unreal Engine 5. The result is truly impressive, given that it is a PvP map with a first-person view that, thanks to the use of particular filters, can fool a distracted eye and seem like a video.
Anyone who wants to test this content simply needs to launch Fortnite Chapter 5 and enter the code 1882-9830-5759 in the search screen. However, it should be noted that, by the developer of this map’s own admission, it is preferable to test it on a gaming PC with all the settings turned up to maximum. Alternatively, you can test the map on a PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X|S , as long as you disable the 120Hz option , which prevents it from functioning correctly. In short, those who play on mobile devices, Nintendo Switch, or older-generation Sony/Microsoft consoles should not try this map for the simple fact that they will not be able to enjoy the experience in the way that its creator intended.
For those who don’t know, it is not mandatory to play this mode in PvP and those who want can start a private match: at the end of the countdown, they will be able to freely roam around the map and observe the work done by the developer. Finally, it would be advisable to use skins that are not bulky and with few details, since they could create problems in the first-person view.
