ASSASSIN’S CREED 2: EZIO SEEKS REVENGE IN A COSPLAY ACCLAIMED BY UBISOFT
The second chapter of Assassin’s Creed , released in 2009, managed not only to consolidate Ubisoft’s then new IP, born from an idea by Patrice Désilets regarding the Prince of Persia series, but also to introduce a character into the gaming landscape who would become extremely popular throughout the world: Ezio Auditore da Firenze.
From the first minutes of the second title dedicated to the assassins’ beliefs, the authors have tried to create a deeper and more empathetic bond between Ezio and the players , making them experience the scene of his birth. Several years have passed since the first cries, and the young Auditore is busy getting into trouble following that free and rebellious spirit that has contributed to breaking into the hearts of the public.
However , the involvement of his father, friend and advisor to the great Lorenzo de’ Medici, in unmasking the de’ Pazzi family conspiracy ends up getting him and his sons, with the exception of Ezio, into trouble. Imprisoned and accused, Giovanni, Federico and Petruchio are sentenced to death. That event will mark a point of no return in the life of Ezio, who, having inherited the assassin’s clothes from his father , will begin to sow victims to take revenge, moving from his dear Florence to arrive in Rome and Venice, in search of anyone who contributed to shed the blood of the Auditores.
