THREE ASSASSIN’S CREEDS THAT WE COULD HAVE DONE WITHOUT: WERE THEY REALLY NEEDED ON DS?
There are many Assassin’s Creed games published by Ubisoft from 2007 to today, including main chapters and spin-offs. There are names like Assassin’s Creed II , Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag and Assassin’s Creed Origins that have managed to win over critics and the public, and then there are other essentially useless exponents.
Below we mention three Assassin’s Creed games that we could have easily done without , both because they are bad games and because they don’t really add anything to the series:
THREE ASSASSIN’S CREEDS THAT WE COULD HAVE DONE WITHOUT: WERE THEY REALLY NEEDED ON DS?
Assassin’s Creed: Altair’s Chronicles
Prequel to the original Assassin’s Creed designed for Nintendo DS , Assassin’s Creed Altair’s Chronicles is not only a terrible game but it is also really useless from a narrative point of view: it does not provide who knows what insights into the character of Altair Ibn-La’Ahad , it has no story compelling and in ludic terms it doesn’t work in any way, not even when it tries to exploit the peculiar characteristics of the Nintendo portable console .
Only for diehard fans of the franchise who want to have every single product with the Assassin’s Creed brand printed on it in their collection.
Assassin’s Creed II: Discovery
Despite the failure of the first title, Ubisoft tries again on DS with Assassin’s Creed II Discovery , this time focused on Ezio Auditore da Firenze and a trip to Spain that sees him fight the Templars of the Spanish Inquisition
And although Discovery is overall a better product than Altair’s Chronicles, the feeling is of being faced with another superfluous game, with few qualities and which delves little or nothing into the entire universe of the series.
Assassin’s Creed Memories
Considered the worst Assassin’s Creed ever made , Assassin’s Creed Memories is an RPG-style card game designed for mobile systems, poorly programmed and devoid of any interesting ideas that could make it attractive to any type of player.
It’s such a little-known game in general that it really makes you wonder why Ubisoft decided to waste time on development, wasting resources that could have been used for other projects.
In closing, let’s focus on the main series: the Assassin’s Creed ranking reveals which are the least successful and which are the most beautiful.
