The ex-Dragon Age producer says what he thinks of The Veilguard and doesn’t use half measures
Dragon Age The Veilguard will be available at the end of the year and now the ex-producer of the saga, who works as a consultant at BioWare, says what he thinks of the project
Dragon Age The Veilguard has been in development for some time and over the years the team that worked on it has changed, with some key figures leaving the company. Mark Darrah – well-known executive producer of the saga, for example he left BioWare in 2020 .
Last year, however, he returned as a consultant for Dragon Age The Veilguard, essentially selling what the team has created over the years. Now, speaking with Game Informer, Darrah said what he thinks.
Darrah’s words on Dragon Age The Veilguard
Darrah explained: “Uncharitably, previous Dragon Age games could only say that ‘the combat wasn’t that bad’. In this game, the combat is really fun, but it keeps the thread that’s always there state. You focus on Rook, on your character, but there’s still control and character of the other party members that come into the combat experience.”

“This is truly the best Dragon Age game I’ve ever played. It’s one where we return to our roots of character-driven storytelling, have really fun combat, and don’t compromise.”
