The Hollywood Reporter asked the showrunners of the Fallout television series if there’s a date for Season 2, and here’s what they said.
Has a release date been decided for Fallout season 2 ? Will it be broadcast towards the end of 2025 or 2026? This is the question that the Hollywood Reporter asked the showrunners of the television series.
“On the internet, it’s common for certain statements to be reported as official announcements, so I’m hesitant to suggest a date as it could end up being taken out of context and discussed on Reddit for a year,” Graham Wagner explained.
“What I can say is that we will try to proceed as quickly as possible , also thanks to the fact that we already have several assets from the first season available, sets and effects ready for use. (…) We will push the accelerator to the maximum for the second season to arrive quickly.”
A huge success
We know that the Fallout television series on Amazon Prime Video was a huge success, reaching 80 million viewers and helping to significantly relaunch the games in the Bethesda series.
‘FALLOUT’ Season 2 is still in early development but will be “out as fast as humanly possible”
“We are going as fast as we possibly can, and we’ve got a lot of heavy lifting from Season 1 already done”

There is therefore great enthusiasm around the show and the second season, already officially announced by Amazon given the excellent results of the first episodes, which according to the authors obviously do not include all the ideas developed so far for the transposition.
“There were a lot of things we wanted to introduce in Season 1 that we decided to put aside for Season 2,” Geneva Robertson-Dworet said. “So we feel like we’re already in a good place and it’s honestly very exciting.”
“We’re so grateful to have the opportunity to bring to the screen all the things that couldn’t be adapted in the first season, and we’re thrilled to be able to do them now.”
