Stellar Blade 2 seems to be currently under consideration among the future plans of the Shift Up team, as confirmed by the director in an interview in which he also spoke about other projects.
Considering the success of the first chapter, it is likely that a Stellar Blade 2 has already been taken into consideration by the Shift Up team and the issue had in fact already emerged in recent days, but it is pleasing that it is substantially reiterated and confirmed by director Kim Hyung -tae.
In a recent interview published by Famitsu, the director and CEO of the Shift Up team confirmed that the studio is currently considering the idea of developing a sequel to Stellar Blade, although there is nothing definitive about it yet, for the moment.
Hyung-tae and technical director Lee Dong-gi spoke above all about the plans for Stellar Blade in closer and more immediate terms, that is, new content and updates, but they also referred to the creation of a series.
Shift Up’s plans for the future
The issue had already emerged in recent days, in particular when the Shift Up team attempted to list on the stock exchange through an initial public offering (IPO).

As often happens, in these cases potential investors are attracted by also presenting plans for the future, which involve the franchise in question.
On this occasion it emerged that Shift Up is considering a PC version of Stellar Blade, as well as a real sequel , but as regards the latter, obviously we will have to wait a while longer, given that work is still continuing on the first chapter.
Among the near future plans for the team there is also a new intellectual property identified with the code name Project Witches , a “cross-platform” game that should follow in the footsteps of Genshin Impact , at least according to the elements that have emerged so far.
