What is XDefiant?
XDefiant has been available since last Tuesday and it is a free-to-play multiplayer shooter where players take on the role of factions inspired by the famous Ubisoft franchises, such as Splinter Cell, Watch Dogs, Far Cry and Ghost Recon.
The preseason is currently underway , which allows players to become familiar with the game mechanics by having access to five different factions, 14 maps, 24 weapons and various modes divided between Arena and Linear games.
Despite some problems that emerged in the first hours after the opening of the global servers, it seems that the game has recorded excellent turnout numbers . There is even talk of 1 million unique players in the first two and a half hours and even a peak of 500,000 concurrent users in the first 24 hours. In short, truly encouraging numbers for what is in all respects a live service title with potential.
