Tomb Raider I-II-III Remastered: the latest update censors Lara’s posters

The latest update of Tomb Raider I-II-III Remastered has censored some historic Lara Croft posters, to the disgrace of many.

The latest update of Tomb Raider I-II-III Remastered introduced an unpleasant censorship of some historic Lara Croft posters that had been reproduced in the game and showed her in her most glamorous version.

They were clearly a reference to the history of the character , who at the end of the 90s and at the beginning of the current millennium had become the protagonist of real “fake” photo shoots for fashion magazines and similar, with Eidos having ridden this side of him sexy to sell more copies of games .

Like it or not, this is an aspect that is part of the history of Tomb Raider, so it made sense that it was kept in the remastered edition. At the beginning it was like this, actually, but it seems that the censorship arrived after launch, making it even more unpleasant.

Whoever first reported the censorship, the X DOA user Momiji , took it as a warning to always be on the alert, because censorship can arrive even months after launch, without being flaunted. In this case, the reference is to Stellar Blade , which some fear may be retouched after its arrival on the market, in response to the controversy over the characterization of the protagonist EVE.

Of course Tomb Raider I-II-III Remastered remains the same game as in our review . However, it is sad to see such operations, which in the end only cause damage even to those causes that they theoretically would like to protect.
